ShareFile Client Portal (secure transfer of files)

We are pleased to announce our firm offers a secure online client portal called ShareFile.  The ShareFile client portal is a free, easy, and secure means to send and receive electronic files and documents with us. 

ShareFile uses a very high level of encryption to protect all your personal contact information contained in electronic documents such as Social Security numbers and other private data.  Typical emails do not have the password protected security and high-level encryption of ShareFile.  Clients can quickly and securely upload or download multiple electronic files, such as personal or business tax information, large Quickbooks files and/or financial statements via ShareFile. 

You may setup additional sub-folders for business or individual tax files to upload and transfer files by entity or group. 

In order to properly keep track of the files we have downloaded, and to keep the Client Portal organized, we may need to periodically delete the files from the Portal once they are downloaded in order to make sure we have all the files downloaded and to avoid duplicating downloads of files. 

The system has an automatic expiration date for the files of a year or two.  Please download and save files you may wish to keep.  We use the ShareFile Client Portal for secure and quick file transfer, not for long-term storage. 

New ShareFile account users: will be receiving an e-mail notice (your ID is your email address) with a link to activate your free ShareFile account by selecting a password (with 8+ characters, 1+ numbers).  Please take a moment to activate your account when you receive our ShareFile activation email.

Please contact Mike Meredith or one of our staff, to open a free Portal account, or with any questions regarding ShareFile.  When you login to your ShareFile account, we suggest you “save to favorites” in internet explorer or other browser (or you may login through our website).
